Treatment Programs at NSH Addiction Treatment

Evidence-based programs tailored to your unique recovery journey.

Medical Detox

Our medical detox program provides round-the-clock physician-supervised withdrawal management in a safe, clinical setting. Lasting 3–7 days depending on individual needs, our protocol uses medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to ease symptoms and reduce cravings.

Our on-site nursing staff monitors vital signs continuously, adjusting medications as needed. Patients receive nutritional support, hydration therapy, and emotional encouragement from our compassionate care team at our facility. Medical detox is the crucial first step — and we ensure it's as safe and comfortable as possible.

Residential treatment

Residential Treatment

Our residential program offers 30–90 days of immersive, structured care within our 42-bed campus. Residents participate in daily individual therapy, group counseling, and evidence-based clinical programming while living in a supportive, substance-free environment.

Each resident receives a personalized plan addressing the root causes of their addiction — including trauma, co-occurring disorders, and behavioral patterns. Our facility features private rooms, chef-prepared meals, fitness areas, and outdoor therapeutic spaces.

Outpatient Program

Our outpatient programs provide flexible, structured addiction treatment that allows patients to maintain daily responsibilities while receiving clinical care at our center.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): 2–4 weeks of intensive daily programming, 5–6 hours per day, including individual and group therapy, psychiatric support, and skills training.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 8–12 weeks of structured sessions, 3–4 days per week, focusing on relapse prevention, coping strategies, and community reintegration.

Dual diagnosis therapy

Dual Diagnosis

Nearly half of individuals with a substance use disorder also experience a co-occurring mental health condition. Our dual diagnosis program provides integrated treatment that addresses both simultaneously — because treating one without the other often leads to relapse.

Our clinical team specializes in treating addiction alongside anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other conditions. Using psychiatric medication management, trauma-informed therapy, and behavioral interventions, we help patients achieve stability at our center.
